Getting to Apo

From Manila:
By airplane: with PAL Express or Cebu Pacific to Dumaguete in 60 minutes. Two daily flights each airline.

From Cebu:
By airplane: with Cebu Pacific to Dumaguete in 35 minutes. One daily flight.

You can also take the red eye direct from Phuket, Thailand via Manila and connect through to arrive in Dumaguete early morning with Cebu Pacific on Tuesdays and Fridays

Boat:
Dumaguete has a port, with boats arriving from many destinations within the Philippines, although schedules change frequently and are prone to late changes with inclement weather.

Road:
Buses operate all over Negros and Cebu Island, with regular departures from places such as Cebu's Southern bus terminal, Bacolod & Sipalay direct to Dumaguete and Dauin.

Once in Dumaguete:

There are many forms of public transport that are cheap and easy to use: Jeepneys, Tri-cycles, Pedicabs and even horse & carts! If you need private taxi transfer just advise ahead.
